Jason Wilson

Founder and Co-Owner of Riverside Pawn. As an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, Jason is an accomplished business owner with extensive knowledge in customer relationships, management training and motivating teams.  He is also the author of the best selling business book "Brick-and-Mortar isn't Dead", which takes prospective business owners through the process of opening a business from start up to expansion.  Jason is now passionate about helping others reach their goals of owning a business through consulting.  

Chad Hardway

Co-Owner of Riverside Pawn. While working towards his Bachelors Degree at Averett University, Chad discovered his passion for the pawn industry. He joined forces with Jason and together they have rapidly expanded the brand of Riverside Pawn. Chad has over 10 years of experience working in the pawn industry in several different markets and his extensive knowledge of coins, firearms, jewelry and customer service has played a huge role in the great success and growth of Riverside Pawn. He is now hoping to help others discover the exciting, profitable and rewarding experience of operating a pawn shop.


Katie Newcomb

Katie is currently the business manager of both branches of Riverside Pawn and the regional manager of the Virginia branch. Katie is an experienced and versatile professional with strong management, customer service, and administrative skills. She has developed and integrated all of Riverside Pawn's human resource protocols and handbooks as well as our systems for AML and FFL compliance. With a background of more than 10 year in human resources, payroll and administrative operations, she offers extensive knowledge in the behind the scenes part of owning a business.
